NAF (Natural Animal Feeds) produce a select range of canine products alongside our comprehensive equine range, and other products for poultry and game birds.

Dogs, just like horses, are maintained largely on complete diets. By and large these are great, but each dog is different and has his own individual needs for specific nutrients, depending on age, breed lifestyle etc.

The cultivated ingredients used to make complete pet foods are highly processed and mixed with preservatives in production. They are far removed from the diet the dog evolved to eat - meat, bone, offal, feathers, fur etc... which is why it could be argued that many health conditions experienced by the domestic dog have only evolved in more recent years... with the advent of modern food manufacturing and processing.

The most common health conditions seen in dogs tend to be associated with joints and mobility. Dogs respond as well to nutritional support for joints as horses do, although their metabolism is different, so formulations need to be adjusted accordingly. Within our range NAF offer a choice of joint products for dogs, including a combination product called HipRite, which contains the correct proportions of glucosamine, chondroitin sulphate, MSM and antioxidants for maximum absorption by dogs.
